Bruno Mars é o grande vencedor do Grammy 2018

Grammy, maior premiação da música, consagrou o cantor havaiano Bruno Mars neste domingo (28), em cerimônia no Madison Square Garden, em Nova York.

O cantor de 32 anos ganhou em todas as categorias que concorria e levou seis prêmios (Disco do Ano, Música do Ano, Gravação do Ano, Performance R&B, Música R&B e Álbum R&B).

O álbum "24k magic", de Mars, ainda levou na categoria Melhor Engenharia de Som, prêmio para a equipe técnica que produziu e masterizou o disco.

Kendrick Lamar levou quatro prêmios das categorias rap (colaboração, álbum, música e perfomance) e Melhor Clipe.

"Despacito", maior hit de 2017 e que concorria em duas das principais categorias, saiu sem prêmios.

Antes da cerimônia, no tapete vermelho, Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey, Sam Smith e outras estrelas usaram rosas brancas em protesto contra assédios.

 

Outros premiados

Ed Sheeran ganhou dois prêmios (performance solo de pop e álbum de pop com vocal), mas não foi à premiação.

Nas categorias de rock, The War on Drugs levou de álbum, Foo Fighters ganhou de música e Leonard Cohen ganhou um Grammy póstumo de melhor performance.

Outro troféu póstumo foi para Carrie Fisher, que ganhou na categoria de melhor álbum falado, com o audiobook de sua biografia, "Memórias de princesa". Greg Kurstin (Beck, Kendrick Lamar, Foo Fighters) levou como Produtor do Ano.

Quase 50 anos após sua criação, o grupo alemão Kraftwerk ganhou seu primeiro Grammy. Ele venceu na categoria de álbum de música dance ou eletrônica por "3-D Catalogue".
